Kitchen Table
As a single man it is easy to get into the habit of eating on the couch over your coffee table. It’s a good idea to break the routine once and a while and eat at an actual dining room table. Not to mention you should have room for company to sit when they come over for a meal. If you are lacking space, look for a fold up table to do the trick.

Making Counter Space
If you are renting, most places that you move into will be furnished with little flexibility for changes. Your best option for making space is on your counter tops. Decide which small appliances are the most important and only keep those out. Prioritize and choose which can stay in the cupboard until needed. For example, if you don't drink coffee often you can keep the machine tucked away until you want to use it for yourself or others.
